I’m Sarah and I’ve been making music since I was a baby…. I’m told I could sing before I could talk! My degree is in music, I teach music in local primary schools and give private instrumental lessons to both children and adults. In my spare time, I play in a wind band and a symphony orchestra.

I have three children who all enjoyed weekly Musical Bumps classes at their nursery. I watched one of their lessons and was delighted to discover that the Musical Bumps curriculum fulfils my (high!) expectations for developing early musicianship skills as well giving the children a fun but structured class. I really noticed an improvement in the children’s confidence and concentration.

As part of my Musical Bumps work, I am involved in a project supporting speaking and listening in nurseries and pre-schools throughout Tunbridge Wells.
