3+ classes are smaller and slightly shorter, and parents and carers are not actively involved in the class. A typical class develops specific musical skills and concepts including opportunities for dancing, solo singing and playing percussion. Some basic music notation is also introduced through these games. Classes lay a solid foundation for future instrumental lessons, and help to prepare children for their school days to come.
At this stage, many children are happy to come into the class without their parent or carer. However, adults are welcome to remain in the room although they don’t participate.
Once your child starts school, you may be able to book bespoke Musical Bumps Musicianship directly through your local teacher.
