Terms and conditions for families attending Musical Bumps classes
Baby, 1+ and 2+ classes: Resources are provided for use under supervision. Parents and carers are expected to supervise their own children and not allow instruments and puppets to be sucked or chewed. This is for the safety of children attending Musical Bumps classes.
Whilst we do not expect children to sit still for any of our classes, we ask parents to consider the needs of other families within classes. Every family attending our classes should be free to listen, participate, learn and have fun!
Once your child is registered with Musical Bumps they have a permanent place until you tell us otherwise. You must give at least 3 weeks’ notice (verbal or written) if you wish to discontinue classes. Without notice you are still liable for fees. This applies to termly, half-termly and five-week block payments.
Fees cannot be waived for occasional absences. In exceptional circumstances please speak to your teacher as we may be able to come to an arrangement with you. Some franchisees offer five-week blocks for babies attending 0-12 month classes which allow some flexibility; occasional missed classes may be carried forward within a term. In exceptional circumstances teachers may be able to offer this option for older children.
Fees must be paid in advance. Cash payments MUST be in an envelope with your child’s name and class details clearly written on the front. Cheques payable to MUSICAL BUMPS should have your child’s name and class details written on the back. We do not accept debit/credit cards yet. Priority places are available for children already attending a class. The cut-off date for each term is shown on the booking form. After this date places are allocated on first come first served basis. Once a class is full a waiting list is held.
