An Interview With Our Teacher in Leicestershire

Anna Thomas, Musical Bumps South Leicestershire

Anna Thomas joined the Musical Bumps team last year and runs classes for babies and pre-school children in Leicester and Wigston, Leicestershire.

Anna has been involved in music all of her life, from singing in choirs from a young age and learning instruments to performing in shows and ensembles.  She then decided to study music at University and has a degree in music as well as being a qualified teacher.  She enjoyed many years of teaching music to children within secondary schools but decided to have a career change following the birth of her second child.  She opted to start her own Musical Bumps business and now loves working with the youngest of our children.

Anna plays the clarinet, saxophone and piano but singing is her first love.  She says “it’s especially important to me now that I have two young children of my own!  As a mum and teacher, I understand how important it is to have fun whilst you learn.”

To find out more about Anna’s background and why she decided to start a Musical Bumps business and to read about her typical day click on this link which has been written by one of the venues she uses in Leicester:
